Contrary to what may seem, it’s vitally important to keep a correct position when sitting at a computer. Before you get to typing anything, tidy your workplace, so that nothing disturbs you or keeps you unfocused. Hands should be placed loosely on the keyboard, and you shouldn’t forget about making enough room on the desk, so that you could lean your wrists against it. Positioning the whole of your arm correctly is crucial. Put your forearm horizontally, at 90 degree angle. Bear in mind, that when typing, only your fingers should be at move, while your arms should stay still throughout the process. When typing you should follow the text that appears on the screen with your eyes, instead of looking at the keyboard. Remember not to lean forward, hunch or cross your legs, as this may lead to a spinal disease. A good idea is to warm up your fingers and wrists by making circles or clenching fists.
